These are fabulous on the BBQ or done in the oven. Marinate them....or not! They are perfect as a finger lickin' Friday Feast or as part of a whole meal. They can also double as a chicken salad if you want them too!

Ingredients
- 1kg Chicken thighs cut in half or mini wings
- 2 teaspoons unrefined sea salt or Himalayan salt
-
1-2 tablespoons Secret Spice Co Smokin’
- ¼ cup lemon juice (optional, but awesome!)
-
If you fancy more kick, add 1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder to the mix.
Directions
- Pop the chicken in a large bowl
- Sprinkle over the spice and add the lemon juice (if adding)
- Massage through all the nooks and crannies of the chicken
- Cover and pop in the fridge (3 hours max due to the lemon)
- Pop a little coconut oil or lard on a hot grill or BBQ
- Cook on both sides for 8-12 minutes or until cooked through (don’t be tempted to turn too soon so a nice caramelisation has occurred - that’s the best bit!
- Skinnier pieces will cook faster so remove those and check the fatter ones.
Once cooked, serve with a salad or veg and my super easy garlic aioli - never buy mayo again!!
