Returns & Exchanges Policy

We want you to love every sprinkle and scoop — but if something’s not quite right, we’ll make it right. You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required (your order confirmation email is perfect).
How to Request a Return

Email hello@secretspiceco.com.au with:

  • Your order number
  • A brief explanation of the issue or reason for return

If your return is approved, we’ll provide:

  • A return shipping label
  • Clear instructions on how and where to send your item

Note: Please do not send any items back without contacting us first - returns received without prior approval cannot be processed.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review and resolve the issue.

Shipping Protection: If Shipping Protection was purchased at checkout, your order is covered for loss, damage, or theft during transit in accordance with our Shipping Policy.
If Shipping Protection was not purchased, Secret Spice Co cannot be held responsible for parcels lost or damaged after leaving our warehouse.

Including photos helps us resolve things faster and improve our quality control.

Change of Mind Returns

Due to the nature of our food products, we’re unable to accept returns for change of mind or once an item has been opened. If you’re unsure which blend is right for you, reach out - we’re happy to help before you buy.

Items That Cannot Be Returned
  • Opened or used food items
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or special orders
Exchanges

Ordered the wrong item? The quickest way to get what you need is to:

  1. Request a return for the item you no longer need
  2. Place a new order for the correct product
Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you’ll receive an email confirming approval. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

Please allow up to 7 business days for your bank or card provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

These rights are in addition to our 100% Flavour Happiness Guarantee.
