Homemade Almond Milk

Shop bought plant based milks are often chock with vegetable oils, sweeteners and emulsifiers. Why not make your own?
Ingredients

1 cup Spray free Almonds, preferably soaked overnight with a dash of salt
- 4 cups filtered water
Options to sweeten your Homemade Almond Milk:

a dash of vanilla
-
1 teaspoon of Aroma Spice

OR 1 Medjool date
Directions
Whizz up the almonds and water in a high speed blender or Thermomix for one minute
- Strain through a nut milk bag or layers of muslin cloth straight into a jug or large bowl
- Use a funnel to pour into a bottle or jar.
- Pop in the fridge.
- Shake well before use.
- Use within 5 days
- Keep the pulp for baking or bliss balls!
