This recipe can be eaten like cereal or nibbled on like a Trail Mix!
Store bought cereals are filled with artificial flavours and sweeteners so this is your healthy, guilt free alternative to use inplace of cereal or as a topping for chia pudding, oats or pancakes

Melt remaining ingredients together in a pot on a medium heat.
Add flaked coconut to nut mixture

Place in an oven for the time you have available to until the mixture is dry and toasted. (see guide below)
- Check and turn gently every 20 minutes, longer if using the lower temperatures.
Recipe Note
Rough guide:
- 100 degrees for 6-8 hours,
- 120 degrees for 4-6 hours,
- 140 degrees for 2-4 hours,
- 160 degrees for 1-2 hours. At this temperature keep a close eye as the coconut flakes may burn easily. Consider adding them in the last 20 minutes depending on your oven
